Local “Linkki” buses from the Jyväskylä region run to the centre of Hankasalmi, 20 km away. Services operated by Onnibus and Savonlinja Oy also stop approximately 30 km away. Hankasalmi railway station is 30 km from Ranta-Keurula. Timetables are available on the Matkahuolto and VR websites.

There is no public transport for the final part of the journey, but several taxi operators serve the Hankasalmi area and can take you directly to Ranta-Keurula. Booking in advance is recommended to ensure availability.
